The FLHSMV once notified of the delinquency of the unpaid court costs by the Clerk’s Office, and if the court costs are not paid in full or if you have not entered on payment plan by the effective suspension date provided by the FLHSMV, you will be required to obtain an Affidavit of Reinstatement that you must submit to the FLHSMV, to clear your license for $7.00 from the Clerk’s Office and you will be required to pay a $60 reinstatement fee directly to your local FLHSMV office or by mail. Pursuant to FS 322.245(5) (a), the Clerk of the Courts is required to notify Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) that the defendant has failed to pay his financial obligations, which shall result in the suspension of your driver license.
